Kristen Adams is an Emmy award-winning storyteller, idea hunter, creative writer and strategic thinker. She is an AVP of Projects and Chief Storyteller at Cognizant, a global technology consulting company.

A longtime television journalist, Kristen produced for ABC News, NBC News, and CNBC, winning an Emmy in 2001 for Best Interview, the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University journalism award for her contributions to ABC’s coverage of 9/11, and GLAAD’s Outstanding Television Journalism award for “Rosie’s Story,” a two hour special on gay adoption. She won the 2014 Silver Telly Award, a 2003 Cine Golden Eagle for Excellence in Film and Video Production and a 1995 Los Angeles area Emmy Award.

Prior to joining Cognizant, Kristen founded her own video production company, creating documentaries for the National MS Society and the MS Association of America and in 2015 was honored by the MSAA for advocacy for individuals with MS. Her 2015 series for Sesame Street on children with autism received an Emmy nomination and led to the creation of Julia, a muppet with autism.

Kristen was diagnosed with MS in 2007.
