Dr. De Jager is the Weill-Granat Professor of Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), where he directs the MS Center and the Center for Translational & Computational Neuroimmunology. He has been recognized for his leadership in investigations of MS with the Harry Weaver Neuroscience Scholar Award and the Barancik Prize for Innovation in MS research, both from the NMSS. His expertise lies in executing large-scale translational studies of human material in which he leverages his experience in molecular genetics, genomics, human immunology, and computational biology.
